Excited about your move, wherever, but Alaska sounds so wonderful. And for you and your gentleman friend being at one with this, it appears you're already on the right track.
Years ago, before we bought this house, we were renting a house. Even before we knew the details---only realizing we'd have to move because our landlords wanted to sell the house we were in, and not to us---I started to pack and put away anything I didn't need at that time. Within 6 weeks time, we were in our new house. How's that for timing. Listen to your heart and I'll definitely be praying. Already have, as a matter of fact. :)
